Christian Boaters Association

About Us

group photo
We are Christians interested in boating and seek to reflect our faith in all aspects of boating lifestyles and activities.

Our members range from individual boaters who desire the fellowship of other Christian boaters as well as those with organized boat-based ministries.

CBA members are in most of the 50 states and approximately 14 different countries. All have the same desire to use boating as a means to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ on the waterways of the world.

CBA is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt non-profit interdenominational Christian organization.

Purpose and Vision

History

CBA began in 1988 inspired by the vision of Jeff Rooks. Jeff served as the original president of CBA until March  of 1995 when he went home to be with the Lord.

Since then CBA has continued to grow into a network of believers from most of the fifty states and 13 different countries.  All with the vision of sharing the gospel on the waterways of the world.

The CBA Flag
"You have been given a banner to them that fear You, that it may displayed because of the truth" Psalm 60:4 NKJV

The royal blue field represents Jesus the King.

The red stripes represent His shed blood. "By His stripes we are healed."There are three to symbolize the Trinity and the days He spent in the tomb.

The ichthus(fish) is one of the earliest symbols of Christian identity and it is white to symbolize purity. The letter of the Greek for fish forms an acronym for the statement of faith:"Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior"

The flag of the Christian Boaters Association is in a 2:3 ratio, 12in X18in
